After making up my mind, I did some research. I had so many questions I wanted answered. I found out though that blogs about Ateneo MBA were quite few so I decided to make this my very first post. Hopefully those who come across my site would find this helpful. =)
Months prior, I kept asking my friends and colleagues about where to take my MBA. As expected, I got various answers that just made me more confused. One day I'm rooting for La Salle, other days for UP. But I decided to take Ateneo because of its good reputation and I think the Standard Program would best fit me.
How to apply?
First, go to the AGSB website http://www.gsb.ateneo.edu/ and log in as new applicant. Fill out the information required under several tabs (i.e. Personal, Present Work, Essay, etc). After that, you will be directed to a page confirming that your application process has been completed.
You will be given an Applicant ID Number and Password which you need to print out and present to the Registrar's Office (2nd floor) along with the following:
1. Official Transcript of Records (photocopy)
2. NSO Birth Certificate (photocopy)
3. 1x1 and 2x2 ID Picture (1 pc each)
4. Pay the processing fee of P1,839.00 at the Cashier's Office (ground floor)
If you forget to bring cash, don't worry because there's an ATM on the ground floor.
After payment, you will return to the Registrar and will be given an examination permit. In my case, I went there last May 19 thinking that my exam would already be on the 24th but Sir Danny put me for June 7th. He said I can change the date of my exam but I didn't anymore. He also reminded me to bring a non-programmable calculator for the exam.
How to prepare for the Ateneo MBA exam?
Admittedly, Math isn't my forte. That's one of the reasons I took Pharmacy as my undergraduate degree. So I think you can just imagine how crazily nervous and anxious I am for the exam! Wondering how I'm currently preparing for it? See my next post coz this one's quite long already. lol. =)
06 June 2014 Update:
Called the Registrar just now. My exam will be in Room 308. I asked if I needed to bring a pencil (i.e. Mongol #2) but he just told me to bring an ordinary calculator. I repeated my question and he repeated his answer. Weird.
