9:00 - arrived at Tagbilaran airport
9:30 - check-in at Hotel
10:30 - jeep to Island City Mall (largest mall in Bohol)
11:00 - lunch at Prawn Farm Restaurant (they have a buffet for less than 400 but wasn't worth it)
12:30 - rode a bus bound to Panglao (ask the driver to drop you off at Dumaluan Beach)
5:00 - left Dumaluan beach
7:00 - arrived at Island City Mall
Panglao
The white sand beach was beautiful though it's not as fine as Boracay. There's a P25 entrance fee to the public beach or you can pay P200+ for private access but the demarcation are very close to each other I think you wouldn't enjoy much 'privacy'. So better pay P25 nalang.
The place was packed with people since it was a weekend. We didn't rent a cottage and chose to stay on a shady spot beside the shore. The water is very clear, thanks to the low tide, but the rocky part started about 4.5 feet so I wasn't able to swim and there were sea weeds (a guy even caught a sea urchin, yikes). We went past the dividing line and took photos at the Bohol Beach Club where only a few people are swimming. Good thing the security guard didn't mind us.
It was a 10-15 minute walk from the beachfront to the main road. A few jeepney full of people went past us. Fortunately, after waiting for about 10 minutes, we were able to get to a bus that was going back to Island City Mall but the bus first had to go to the farthest drop off point at Panglao (round trip pala kami).

-It was raining on my birthday. Boo hooo. So always remember to check, double check and triple check the weather forecast and better do the tour when you're super duper sure that the weather is all good.
-The conservation area only has about 5 tarsiers. It was so out of reach and they have started to be very strict on their 'no tarsier touching' policy. Very disappointing. Though I can't complain much since they are known to be suicidal and will just knock themselves out when stressed. I guess I was just hoping to gently pet one instead I only got zoomed-in pixelated photos I don't appreciate much.
-When we went to the (very mesmerizing) Chocolate Hills, it was only drizzling and we thought there was no need to bring an umbrella. After climbing so fast my thighs were burning, it started to rain and we were left soaking wet and freezing. I managed to get a single not-so-gloomy shot of the hills after going down. I didn't try to go back to the viewing deck since the sun never really appeared and it looked like it was going to rain again.
-I enjoyed the river cruise and the wonderful view. Not the 500-peso buffet. It was fun mingling with the natives and thank God it was not drizzling that time.
-I think we passed by one Church that was not affected by the earthquake. I took a shot of a Church with paintings on the roof. Unfortunately, it was damaged beyond repair. The town is now trying to gather enough funds to build a new one.
5:00 - Mass at the Cathedral
6:30 - Dinner at Payag Restaurant
-So sorry but it was just ok and I will never exchange our Mang Inasal for their Chicken Inato.
Pasalubong shopping at Plaza Marcela (a budget mall in Tagbilaran where you can find cheap clothes but only 5% are worth buying, pardon my frankness)
Flight back to Manila
Overall, I'm still happy to have made this trip. There are so many lessons I have learned the hard way but well, that's part of life. Hihi. I will see you again, Bohol! =)
